Fedora: Security Advisory Details

Did you ever wonder about why a package needs updated? There isn’t much detail in the package update tool shipping with Core 6, or 7. If one wanted, one could subscribe to Fedora Package Announcements Mailing List.

For those who do not want to subscribe to email lists check out Fedora Security Advisories and Package Updates page for more details.

The FSA page contains direct links to specific postings located in the Fedora Package Announcements Mailing List archives. I find this method of locating detailed update and advisory information rather convenient and easy.
